Pasta with Mushrooms, Onions & Garlic Sauce Yum
Anna Pennine Rigate (1 lb) *New Anna Pasta Cut
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp Cento Extra Virgin Olive Oil
5 Bellino Whole Garlic Cloves, roughly chopped
Zest of 1 lemon, 1/4 tsp reserved for garnish
1 can Cento Stems & Pieces Mushrooms (8 oz)
Pinch of Salt
Cento Ground Black Pepper, to taste
1 can Cento Lower Sodium Chicken Broth (13.75 fl oz)
1 1/2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped, 1 tsp reserved for garnish
Juice of 1 lemon


In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Prepare pasta according to instructions on package. In large skillet, sauté garlic, mushrooms and salt for 3 minutes. Add 1/2 can chicken broth; simmer for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn to a low heat, mix in lemon juice, onions, parsley and lemon zest; let simmer. Add remainder of chicken broth and pasta into the pan; cook on low heat for 1 minute. Top with parmesan cheese, remaining parsley and lemon zest, if desired. Serves 4.
