|Quick & Easy Marinara|
2 tbsp Cento Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 tsp Bellino Minced Garlic
1 can Cento Italian Style Whole Peeled Plum Tomatoes (28 oz), hand crushed
Salt and Cento Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Cento All Natural Basil, to taste
In medium saucepan, heat oil. Add onion and sauté until translucent. Add garlic; gently brown. Next add crushed tomatoes; mix well. Season with salt, pepper, and basil. Bring to a boil; immediately reduce to a slow simmer. If sauce is too thick, water may be added to achieve desired consistency. Simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Pour over your favorite Anna pasta, and mix until evenly coated. Serves 4.
