The Process

The process of creating our rich double concentrated tomato paste begins with the selection of tomatoes. The tomatoes are specifically chosen for their fleshier and firmer characteristics. The chosen tomatoes are then sent to a facility where they are washed and sorted. After sorting, the tomatoes are ground into a mash. The mash is then cooked until a looser, brighter red and fresher tasting paste is produced. The paste is spun at high speeds to remove the pulp and seeds. Once this process is complete, the paste is placed in evaporation tanks where the water is removed. This evaporation process occurs twice. Finally, once the paste has reached its desired concentration, it is then packaged in tubes and distributed until it makes its way to your pantry.
